Across EMEA and Asia-Pacific we are committed to a programme of providing standards-compliant IBX data centres to ensure we meet our customers demanding requirements.
What do these certifications mean to our customers?
ISO/IEC 27001:2005
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard defining the requirements for an organisation’s Information Security Management System (ISMS). The audit and certification process ensures the availability, integrity and confidentiality of information and network systems. Several IBX data entres across Europe and Asia have received ISO 27001 certification.
ISO 9001: 2008
By fulfilling the requirements of the ISO 9001 certification, Equinix ensures that a quality management system is in place that always meets the requirements of our customers. The system and quality objectives are reviewed, updated and amended regularly to guarantee continued suitability.
Equinix has received ISO-9001 certification for all its European data centre locations and many of its Asia-Pacific facilities.

ISO is the world's largest developer and publisher of international standards. Equinix has received the ISO-9001 certification of quality for all of its European data center locations.

LEED Certification
Equinix is committed to green building practices, pursuing LEED certification for all of its new data center builds globally. All new IBX data centers are evaluated for LEED certification during the design and construction process.
