Keeping Ahead of Demand in Sydney

To meet growing demand for premium data center services and interconnection, the latest addition to Equinix’s Sydney Campus, SY4, will open in mid 2016.

Located within walking distance to our existing Sydney data centers, SY4 will be a large-scale facility that provides a total of 3,000 cabinets of capacity and over 12,600 square meters (130,000 square feet) at full build, almost doubling our existing capacity. It will connect to our other Sydney facilities through a dense fiber loop, becoming part of an environment that allows each new facility to reap the benefits of existing ones.
